Northern Illinois is coming off a huge 63-60 win at Toledo last Tuesday. The Huskies improved to 4-1 in the MAC West Division and to me they're the best team in the conference. I don't see them squandering this opportunity, they will carry their momentum into their game against Bowling Green.

Northern Illinois has won their last four games and they have scored 31 or more points in six straight games. Bowling Green on the other hand is 1-4 in their last five games, scoring 21 or less points in all five contests. The Green Falcons do not have the offensive firepower to keep up with the Huskies in this game.

The Huskies average 41.2 points and 471 total yards per game this season. They are rushing for a whopping 247 yards per game and 5.9 yards per carry. The Green Falcons are only averaging 26.0 points and 384.1 yards per game. Bowling Green hasn't been able to stop the run this season, as they are allowing 191 rushing yards per game and 5.0 yards per carry. Northern Illinois' ability to run the ball will be the difference in this game.

The player to watch in this game is Huskies quarterback Chandler Harnish. He is completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 1,962 yards with 18 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also leads Northern Illinois in rushing with 871 yards (7.9 yards per carry) and eight touchdowns.
