Tonight the Blues will face Ducks at the Honda Center. The Blues will be looking for a second straight win after defeating the Sharks 4-2 last night. Andy McDonald could miss this game after suffering a possible concussion last Thursday.
The Ducks look for their third straight win after beating the Sharks 1-0 on Friday. They will be missing Jason Blake, who suffered an arm injury on Friday. Keep an eye on Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller, he has stopped 45 shots and allowed only one goal in his last two games, a 2-1 shootout win over the Rangers and a 1-0 shutout of the Sharks.
The Ducks will have an edge in the fatigue department, after Friday's 1-0 win over the Sharks the Ducks had Saturday off while the Blues played at San Jose late last night and will be making a quick turnaround.
The Ducks are 7-1 in their last 8 home games against the Blues and this trend will continue in this game, keep in mind that the Blues are in a back-to-back spot and that is always tough. Good defense and goal tending will make a difference in this game, look for another low scoring game for the Ducks.
