Without a doubt the biggest NBA basketball story so far this season has been the meteoric rise to superstardom of New York Knicks’ pointguard Jeremy Lin. That Lin is a Harvard educated Asian-American playing in the NBA is interesting in itself. That he’s not only earned a spot in the starting lineup but is playing at an All Star level on the biggest stage in sports–New York City–is phenomenal. Lin can score, make plays, and hit the big shot. More importantly for the Knicks he appears to have given the team a solid point guard–a position where the Knicks were struggling.
