Colorado Avalanche at Winnipeg Jets

Jets coming off a big win at home over the mighty Boston Bruins and that is fairly typical of the team formerly known as the 'Atlanta Thrashers'. They have a tendency to get up for 'big games' and in the past month have earned wins over the Bruins and Leafs at home and on the road against the Flyers, Caps and Lightning. This could set up as a 'letdown spot' for the Jets coming off a big win over the Stanley Cup champions.

Statistically, these teams are pretty evenly matched and for whatever reason the Avs have absolutely dominated Eastern Conference opponents. Colorado is 11-2 on the year in non-conference games. Avs are part of the logjam at the bottom of the Western Conference playoff standing and are just 3 points out of the 8th and final spot. Evenly matched teams here and we like the non-conference dominance of Colorado and getting them at an underdog price.
